There are 22 days to go until the Champions League Final, but Real Madrid and Liverpool find themselves in contrasting situations in the lead-up to the match.

Whilst Real Madrid have already wrapped up the LaLiga Santander title, Liverpool have two titles to compete for ahead of the Paris showpiece.

Los Blancos have four matches of the LaLiga Santander season remaining, starting with the short trip to face Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano on Sunday night.

They entertain Levante next Thursday, before travelling to face Cadiz three days later, and welcome Real Betis to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu on the last day of the league campaign.

These all promise to be tough tests, with Atletico Madrid and Real Betis fighting for Champions League qualification, whilst Levante and Cadiz are fighting relegation.

Whilst the team need to maintain their excellent form ahead of the Champions League final, they will be able to rest players, which is a luxury that Liverpool do not have.

The Reds find themselves second in the Premier League table, just one point behind Manchester City.

They welcome Tottenham Hotspur to Anfield on Saturday night, before travelling to face Aston Villa on Tuesday night.

Jurgen Klopp's side take on Southampton at St. Mary's on May 17, before ending the season at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers on May 22.

Liverpool also have an FA Cup final to navigate on May 14 against Chelsea, who will be looking for revenge.

The two sides met in the Carabao Cup final at the end of February, and the match was decided by a 22-penalty shootout, and Kepa Arrizabalaga's missed spot-kick saw The Reds collect their first silverware of the season.

Thanks to that achievement, as well as their position in the Premier League and two cup finals to look forward to, Liverpool are aiming for an unprecedented Quadruple.
