Real Madrid president Florentino Perez appeared to mock wantaway Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo after a fan asked if he would be prepared to resign him.

The veteran star is looking for a way out of Old Trafford to continue his success on the Champions League stage.

A number of clubs have been rumoured to be interested in his services - but one of them is sure not to be his old club Los Blancos, with Perez giving his answer to a young fan.

Footage shows Perez in a lobby being asked by fans if he plans to make a bid for the forward. The Real boss responded: "Sign Cristiano? Again? He's 38 years old".

Ronaldo is actually 37 - but that has not stopped the player's agent, Jorge Mendes, from reportedly throwing his services to many top clubs in Europe.

Some of the sides including Chelsea, Atletico Madrid and Bayern Munich - all of which were linked with the star earlier this transfer window. However, appears that interest has died down as the new season gets underway.

The Portugal international is Real's top scorer, netting a ridiculous 450 goals in 438 games for the current Champions League winners during his nine-year stint with the club at the Bernabeu.
