The UEFA Champions League first-leg semi-final between Real Madrid and Manchester City ended in a 1-1 draw at Santiago Bernabéu.

The match, intense and full of action, leaves both teams with everything to play for in the return leg at the Etihad.

The second half began with Manchester City pressing high, looking for an equalizer.

Real Madrid made a series of changes in the final minutes of the match, with Marco Asensio replacing Rodrygo in the 81st minute, Aurélien Tchouaméni coming on for Toni Kroos in the 84th, and Nacho replacing Luka Modric in the 87th minute.

Manchester City's Bernardo Silva also found himself in the referee's book, receiving a yellow card in the 86th minute for a bad foul.

Despite the substitutions and the ongoing attempts by both sides to clinch a win, the game ended 1-1, setting up a nail-biting second leg to be played at the Etihad Stadium.
