  • Chelsea are interested in acquiring Barcelona and United States international defender Sergino Dest. The 21-year-old Barça right-back -- who has been sidelined with a hamstring injury since March -- has been identified by Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel as a potential reinforcement amid the Blaugrana's interest to sign Cesar Azpilicueta on a free transfer.   • A three-way race between Chelsea, Manchester United, and Paris Saint-Germain is heating up for the signature of Darwin Nunez. It is reported that Benfica would be willing to move him on in the summer for the right fee, and that looks to be a figure in the region of £75million. The 22-year-old striker has scored 32 goals from 38 appearances in the Portuguese league and the Champions League this season. (Athletics)

  •  West Ham United are eyeing a move for Rennes defender Nayef Aguerd. The 26-year-old is reported to be available for a fee in the region of £20m, and with David Moyes keen to add defensive reinforcements this summer, he could make a move for the Ligue 1 star as soon as the transfer window opens.   • Manchester City are looking for a fee of €60m if they are to part ways with Gabriel Jesus. Having secured Erling Haaland, Pep Guardiola's side could be prepared to move on the 25-year-old forward, with Jesus' agent confirming on Tuesday there have been talks with Arsenal and six other unidentified clubs.   • Sevilla are interested in signing Nicolas Pepe on loan. Since joining Arsenal from Lille in 2018 for £72million, the 26-year-old has since failed to establish himself at the Emirates Stadium.   • Arsenal have elevated Cody Gakpo to the top of their shortlist.The 23-year-old winger has caught the attention of clubs across Europe with his performances for PSV Eindhoven this season, and amid reported interest from Liverpool and Manchester City, it looks as though Mikel Arteta's side are ready to push forward a move to sign him.   • Following reports revealed on the blog earlier regarding an eight-year deal for Declan Rice at West Ham United, the latest indicates that he is set to turn down the club's offer.The 23-year-old midfielder has been offered a deal worth £200,000-per-week, but with interest from Chelsea and Manchester United, the England international is desperate to join a side who can compete regularly for trophies.   • Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini is set to leave the club this summer on a free transfer and is attracting glances from MLS.   • Colombia midfielder James Rodriguez says he is hopeful of returning to play in Europe next season. James, 30, joined Qatari side Al Rayyan from Everton in September for an undisclosed fee but is now looking for a new club.   • Juventus CEO Maurizio Arrivabene has told the club's fans to be patient with Dusan Vlahovic and allow the Serbia forward time. Vlahovic, 22, joined Juve in a €70m transfer from Fiorentina in January, but despite scoring seven goals in 18 appearances for his new club, he has not found the back of the net in the last four games.   • Inter Milan CEO Giuseppe Marotta is "very confident" that Ivan Perisic will sign a new contract to remain at the club beyond this summer. Perisic, 33, becomes a free agent at the end of the season but wants a two-year deal to remain in Milan.   • Juventus are ready to offer Manchester United and France midfielder Paul Pogba £8m a year - which is around £160,000 a week - plus a huge bonus package and signing-on fees. Pogba's contract runs out this summer and Manchester City are reportedly interested in the 29-year-old. (Mirror)
