PSG wants €250m for Mbappe but Madrid will pay only €175m

While it has been established that the relationship between Paris Saint-Germain and Kylian Mbappe is slowly getting on track, El Debate is reporting that the Ligue 1 champions are still asking the forward to either renew his contract or leave the team with immediate effect.

Interestingly enough, after being exiled from the first team during the pre-season tour, the only reason why Mbappe returned to training was because of the anger of the player’s family.

It has been learned that Mbappe’s mother, Fayza Lamari, spoke with Nasser Al-Khelaifi and although the call lasted a mere 10 seconds, it was made clear from the player’s family that Mbappe must be integrated into the squad immediately.

The medium claimed that Mbappe’s mother accused the PSG leader of treating the World Cup winner poorly especially after he renewed his contract last year.

Eventually, she put forward a request that the Qatar Emir, Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, must also ask for forgiveness.

As for Al-Khelaifi, he has been tasked to get the footballer to stay and while everything has been solved with money so far, it is not going to help them this time.

So far PSG have made several attempts to make him sign a new contract. As such, they have suggested a one or two-year deal with a release clause in each transfer market.

Now, it must be noted that there are no release clauses in France but this will be applied privately.

If Mbappe continues with PSG, it is rumoured that his release clause would go up to €250 million. At Real Madrid, everyone actually laughed at the figure after knowing the news.

Over the next few days, if Mbappe expresses that he wants to leave, PSG will have to open doors for an exit to Real Madrid mostly because no other club wants him at the moment.

So if PSG calls Madrid for negotiation, the team from the Spanish capital will not offer more than €175 million including bonuses, which would be paid over four years.

The opening offer from the Merengues would not exceed €130 million either.

Real Madrid are very clear. If the player wants to sign for them, they will make an effort this summer or next summer at best. However, if anyone misuses the extension, it will be over for Madrid.
