NPFL: Remo Stars shocks Enyimba in Aba
NPFL defending champions Enyimba fell to a 1-0 defeat at home against Remo Stars in a rescheduled match-day five games of the 2023/24 Nigeria Premier Football League game in Aba on Wednesday.
Samad Kadri headed Remo Stars up in the 33rd minute off a cross by Ismail Sodiq and the visitors maintained the lead with goalkeeper Kayode Bankole also making crucial saves to keep Enyimba at bay.

The win in Aba is Remo’s second on the road this season after snatching a 2-1 win at Bayelsa United on match-day three. It also marked their first win in their last three games.
Daniel Ogunmodede’s side have now moved to second in the table with 19 points, one point below table-toppers Lobi Stars.
They will return home to play Plateau United on Sunday while Enyimba who are now fifth with 16 points will also welcome Sunshine Stars on match-day 11.
