Nottingham Forest are ready to accept summer offers for Super Eagles striker Emmanuel Dennis, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed the Midlands club are prepared to part with the 25-year-old just 12 months after his arrival from Watford.

Forest paid a reported £20million to sign Dennis from Watford last summer following his impressive 2021-22 campaign in the Premier League for the Hornets.

He notched 10 goals and six assists in 33 top-flight appearances for the Hertfordshire club but could not prevent their relegation to the Championship.

Dennis has struggled to recapture that form in a Nottingham Forest shirt.

The Nigeria international, whose contract at the City Ground runs until June 2026, has managed just two goals and three assists in 25 appearances since his 2022 move.

Just nine of those outings came as part of the starting lineup, with the likes of Taiwo Awoniyi, Brennan Johnson and Andre Ayew all preferred to Dennis.

Responding to rumours about a potential exit for Dennis in January, Forest boss Steve Cooper claimed the speculation “isn’t true” and insisted he had a future at the City Ground.

But after securing Premier League survival in the final weeks of the 2022-23 campaign, it is now believed Forest are willing to part with Dennis in the off-season.

Football Insider revealed on Saturday that Nottingham Forest chiefs held a transfer summit in London earlier this week to discuss plans for the upcoming summer window.

A well-placed source told this site that another “busy summer” of ins and outs is likely.
