Former Wa All Stars Chief Executive Officer Oduro Nyarko has called for the inclusion of former Inter and AC Milan star Sulley Muntari in the Black Stars squad for the 2022 World Cup playoff against Nigeria.

The 37-year-old recently joined Ghana Premier League giants Hearts of Oak and has made four appearances for the club.

Muntari has showed a bit of his skill and experience in the game whilst playing for the defending champions.

He was impressive in Hearts of Oak's game against arch-rivals Asante Kotoko in the President Cup on Friday.

According to the experienced football administrator, Muntari deserves a place in the current Black Stars team due to his performance.

“Sulley Muntari always give tailored measured passes and he needs to be in the Ghana’s squad which will face Nigeria in the upcoming World Cup Play offs,” he told Sikka FM.

Black Stars interim coach Otto Addo is expected to name his squad for the doubleheader this week.

Ghana host Nigeria in the first leg of the World Cup playoff on March 25 at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium before traveling to Abuja for the second leg on March 29.
