Naomi Osaka now a ‘baby mama’, split from her boyfriend after child birth

Tennis star Naomi Osaka has seemingly indicated that she and rapper Cordae are no longer together. Osaka and Cordae, both 26 years old, started dating in 2019. In July, Osaka and Cordae became parents for the first time when the Japanese gave birth to a baby girl they named Shai.

Three months after welcoming their first child, Osaka sparked dating rumors after her cryptic post on X. "I just want someone that will watch the sunset with me," Osaka wrote on X.

Previously on September 27th, Osaka wrote: “The art of loving yourself." Also, Osaka and Cordae are no longer following each other on social media and Cordae didn't make any posts about Osaka's birthday on Tuesday.

In the past, there had also been rumors of Osaka and Cordae breaking up. In 2022 August, Osaka and Cordae shut down rumors that were circulating about their relationship. But this time, Osaka has removed all her Instagram photos with Cordae and she is no longer following the rapper on Instagram.

Meanwhile, four-time Grand Slam champion Osaka is extensively working on her comeback. If everything goes well, Osaka should play again at the start of the 2024 season. After welcoming her first child, Osaka admitted that earlier in her life she thought giving birth would end her career.

"Actually, there was a lot of pressure I felt for me. For me, I always had the assumption that if you have a kid, it’s basically the end of your career. I don’t really see a lot of women on the tennis tour with kids.

They are usually a bit older, and it just seems like a very hard taxing on your body. I just never really thought if I had a kid, I’d go back on the tour. But I feel like it was a magical moment for me," Osaka said.
