Kwara United may hire former Katsina United manager
The new manager has been working behind the scene for Kwara United since the departure of Coach Abdullahi Biffo.
Kwara United may have concluded plans to unveil Coach Azeez Muhammed as the new Technical Adviser of the Club.
Mohammed, who was sacked by Katsina United has been working behind the scene for Kwara United since the departure of Coach Abdullahi Biffo.
The gaffer had an illustrious playing career that spanned through Ranchers Bees, Kaduna United and later Gombe United including some North African sides.
With his CAF B license, he is also reputed to have handled a Sudanese Elite side, Hilal Al-Fasher before coming back to Nigeria to join Katsina United.
As a player, he also had stints with Merreikh Port Sudan FC and Annasr Kareema FC.
Azeez has also managed clubs like Shabab Nasir, Almaurad, Alamir Bahrawi, Hayyal Wadi Nyala, Alamal Athbara and Wad Hashim Sinnar.
Kwara United are also expected to unveil some other Coaches alongside the new Technical Adviser as they prepare for the continental engagements.
The Harmony boys will begin their continental campaign against As Douanes of Niger Republic in the first preliminary round of the CAF confederation cup with the first leg billed for 9-11 of September and 16-18 for the second leg.
