Haaland passes Man City medical
Personal terms between Manchester City and Haaland were agreed in April, and this cleared the way for dialogue between the clubs
Manchester City have moved closer to completing the signing of Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund.
Multiple sources indicate that Haaland has successfully passed his medicals and an official announcement from Man City is now imminent.
The last few weeks have seen the English club pull ahead of Real Madrid and Bayern Munich in the race to sign the 21-year-old, and he will now wear the sky-blue City shirt that his father wore during his playing days.
According to The Athletic, Haaland's move to the Etihad Stadium is a "done deal" and it should be confirmed this week.
Personal terms between Manchester City and Haaland were agreed in April, and this cleared the way for dialogue between the clubs.
Manchester City are set to inform Borussia Dortmund that they will pay the fee that is required to activate the release clause in the striker's contract, which is a reported 75 million euros (63 million pounds).

Should the situation proceed as all parties expect, Haaland will be announced as a Manchester City player this week and will then join up with his side for their pre-season preparations.
Haaland started his career at Bryne and Molde in his native Norway, and then spent a year at Red Bull Salzburg.
He joined Dortmund in January 2020 and has scored 85 goals in 88 appearances for the Bundesliga outfit.
