Nigeria captain, Ahmed Musa has announced the arrival of his fifth child, a baby boy.

Musa, who plays for Turkish Super Lig outfit, Fatih Karagümrük made the announcement via his Instagram page.

The winger shared the hand of the newborn baby with a short message and his name.



Revealing the name of the new baby, he wrote: “Alhamdulillah Allah ya Albar kace mu da Adam Ahmed Musa (ZAYD). This is translated (All thanks be to Allah, may Allah bless us with Adam Ahmed Musa).”

The 29-year-old is expected to be named in Nigeria’s squad for the friendly against the Desert Foxes of Algeria next month.

Elsewhere, Nigeria midfielder, Wilfred Ndidi has completed his Business and Management course at De Montfort University in Leicester, United Kingdom.

Ndidi follows in the footstep of former Nigeria International, Seyi Olofinjana, who bagged a degree in Chemical Engineering from the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) during his time with local clubs, Crown FC and Kwara United.

Olofinjana also got a Master’s degree at Aberdeen University while playing for the English Premier League club, Wolverhampton Wanderers.



“Yes (I enjoyed it). I’m done. I did like a 10-class course which can enrol me into a proper university degree,” Ndidi told Football Daily.

“It’s just to enlighten me about business and entrepreneurship and tourism also.”

Ndidi joined Leicester City from Belgian Pro League side, KRC Genk in 2017.
