Barcelona Sunday night romped to an incredible 4-0 win in their high stakes El Clasico clash at Real Madrid thanks to a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Going into Sunday's tie, La Blaugrana are on a five-game La Liga losing streak against Los Blancos in the Spanish capital with their highest El Clasico score line since 2018.

Aubameyang got the ball rolling on the half hour mark for the visitors as he nodded home Ousmane Dembele’s superb cross before the Frenchman’s corner was powered home by Ronald Araujo.

However, despite holding a 2-0 lead at the break, Barcelona have stepped it up a gear in the second period with Aubameyang turning provider to tee up Ferran Torres for a third.

That goal effectively killed off any chance of a revival from the home side as Aubameyang made it four before the hour mark with an outrageous chip.

Three points in Madrid has taken Barcelona up to third in the table with a game in hand on their rivals.
