Gift Orban doesn’t like Nigeria, he loves Nigeria.

Super Eagles striker Gift Orban does not like Nigeria he is in love with his fatherland.

Born by a mother who has a leg in Togo and Benin Republic, Orban could easily represent any of the two countries.

Playing for Togo or Benin Republic,  he won’t be competing with Victor Osimhen, Taiwo Awoniyi, Victor Boniface, Samuel Chukwueze, and a host of other top forwards playing at the highest level for starting shirt.

In Europe where plays professional football, Orban has many suitors who want him to take their citizenship and represent them in international football but Orban politely ignores them to represent his fatherland despite tough competition for shirts and Nff shenanigans.

Said Orabn in a recent interview with journalists, "I don't only like Nigeria, I love Nigeria, I never played for Togo or Benin Republic, when you play for Nigeria, you'll have a better chance to play for big teams in Europe.

“My mother is Togolese, my father is from Taraku, Gwer East Local Govt. Area, Benue State.

“I'm a striker and I love to play as number 9, but this is the national team, Super Eagles, anywhere the coach asks me to play, whether, from the right or left side of the attack, I'll play there to help the team achieve results ."
