Endrick wants Mbappe in Madrid as striker gave up €80m bonus, Tchouaméni confirms rumour

Real Madrid

player Endrick has confessed that it will be a dream come true to play alongside Kylian Mbappe in the Spanish club.

Speaking in an interview with L’Equipe Endrick has claimed that he wishes to play with Mbappe and Vinicius Jr, amid the former’s links to the Merengues.

Real Madrid have secured the signing of Endrick from Palmeiras in a deal that could rise up to €60 million including add-ons.

The agreement was announced in December last year and the teenage striker will be making the jump to Spain in the summer of next year, once he turns 18 years old.

Endrick wants to share the pitch with Mbappe and Vini

coincides with Mbappe, whose contract with PSG expires next summer.

And, the 17-year-old Brazilian wonderkid sang praises of Mbappe in the interview, calling the Frenchman ‘cut above the rest’, before expressing his desire to share the pitch with the 24-year-old as well as Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr.

“He’s a cracking player, a cut above the rest. He’s decisive, spectacular, super-fast and he dribbles better now,” Endrick said.

“Playing with both Vinis and Mbappé would be wonderful. They’re both spectacular and I’d be really happy to play with such great players.”

Real Madrid were heavily linked with a move for Mbappe all summer, but the Frenchman eventually stayed put at PSG.

However, despite the Parisians’ attempts to get him to sign a new contract, as things stand, the 24-year-old is not planning to pen a renewal and is willing to give up his bonuses to leave for free.

L’Equipe, as carried by Sport, says that Mbappe has given up some of his substantial loyalty bonuses in order to facilitate his return. Commonly estimated to be between €60-80m, the French outlet claims it will save PSG around €100m.

Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that PSG and Mbappe are now in talks over a renewal, but both Romano and L’Equipe say no deal is close.

If Mbappe were to renew with PSG, even with an exit clause that allows Real Madrid to sign him at a reduced price, it is not hard to imagine that Los Blancos are the ones to end the saga. With Jude Bellingham stealing the spotlight currently, Real Madrid may decide that a different forward with less gravity is more beneficial.

Meanwhile, ahead of France’s 2024 UEFA Euro qualification game on Thursday, Real Madrid midfielder Aurélien Tchouaméni spoke about the Mbappé saga. There were rumors linking the Paris Saint-Germain star to the Spanish giants all summer.

Nonetheless, no transfer occurred, but Tchouaméni does leave a door open for a possible arrival.

“Of course, it was a possibility,” Tchouaméni told reporters. “Lots of things can happen in football. All the teams in the world want him. He’s at PSG today, we’re not going to talk about it more than that. So good season to him, and we are very happy with what we have today.”
