Emmanuel Dennis may move to Turkey from Nottingham Forest

Super Eagles winger Emmanuel Dennis could be on his way out of Nottingham Forest

Turkish outfit Trabzonspor are reportedly preparing to make a move for a Nottingham Forest forward after receiving positive reports on the player from their scouting department.

According to reports from Turkey, Trabzonspor have included Forest forward Emmanuel Dennis among potential options before their transfer window shuts on September 15 – although they will have to make room in their foreign player quota first.

Dennis only joined Forest last summer as one of a number of new additions to Steve Cooper’s squad, as the City Ground outfit prepared for life back in the Premier League.

He made 27 appearances across the campaign, although only six starts came in the league.

However, having failed to feature so far this season, it appears that Dennis is now surplus to requirements at Forest.

Reports earlier on Wednesday suggested Saudi Arabian team Al-Taee as a potential destination. However, Turkish outlet Sports Digitale reports that Dennis has been added to Trabzonspor’s list of summer targets.

They state that the club’s scouting team ‘presented a positive report’ on the Forest forward to the powers that be.

The report adds that Trabzonspor ‘will make a move’ for Dennis if they can create an opening in their first-team squad.

Saudi Arabia’s deadline for signing players is

September 7, which means if the Forest star does not head to Al-Taee then there is a strong chance that he will join Trabzonspor instead.
