The fierce rivalry between Rivers Angels and Delta Queens will be rekindled in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Federation Cup in the women's category.

The heavyweight clash headlines quarter-final fixtures which will be played in Aba on the 18th of May, 2023 released by the Nigeria Football Federation on Friday.

Both teams have won the cup 12 times between them with Rivers Angels winning it seven times while Delta Queens won the cup five times.

The two top teams in the Nigeria Women Football League Premiership are seeking title in the top league as both teams have secured a place in the season-ending Super Six to determine the winner of the league later in the year.

Other fixtures in the quarter-finals as released by the NFF paired Robo Queens with fellow NWFL side Nasarawa Amazons in Awka the match will be played in another Super clash. Of the round.

In the other fixtures, NWFL Premiership champion Bayelsa Queens will tackle  Fortress Ladies of Ebonyi in Calabar. 

The last fixture of the round is between Lakeside Queens of Ogun State and Edo Queens in Owerri.
