Alcaraz thrilled by Serena Williams message on Wimbledon win

Rising tennis superstar Carlos Alcaraz was seemingly thrilled seeing that Serena Williams acknowledged his Wimbledon win. After Alcaraz captured his first Wimbledon title by beating Novak Djokovic in the final, Williams shared Wimbledon's Instagram post to her Instagram Story.

Alcaraz noticed Williams posted about his win and re-posted it on his Instagram Story with a caption: "Serena (green heart emoji)." Williams, one of the greatest players in Wimbledon history, had seven wins at The Championships.

Meanwhile, 20-year-old Alcaraz has just won his first title at The All-England Club.

Shortly after Alcaraz won Wimbledon, he started receiving congratulatory messages from all sides.

On his Instagram Story, Alcaraz shared congratulatory messages from Williams, Rafael Nadal, as well as congratulatory messages from stars from other sports. For Alcaraz, becoming a Wimbledon champion is something he dreamed of."Well, feels great.

It's a dream come true for me, to be a Wimbledon champion, something that I really wanted. Honestly, I didn't expect to get it really soon. Yeah, it's time to enjoy and share everything, all my feelings. Yeah, as I said, it's a dream," Alcaraz said after winning the title. In the Wimbledon final, Alcaraz became the first player to beat Djokovic at Wimbledon and also the first player to beat the Serb on the Centre Court at The Championships in 10 years."Well, I did it for myself, not for the tennis generation, honestly.

It was great. Beating Novak at his best, in this stage, making history, being the guy to beat him after 10 years unbeaten on that court, is amazing for me. It's something that I will never forget, that's for sure. As I said, it's great for the new generation, as well, I think to see me beating him and making them think that they are capable to do it, as well. It's great for me and I think for the young players, as well," Alcaraz said.
