AC Milan wants to Adarabioyo to dump Fulham

AC Milan has placed Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo towards the top of their list of summer transfer targets – believing the soon-to-be out-of-contract centre half is a perfect pick up on a free transfer.

Italian sports paper Gazzetta dello Sport suggests that the former Manchester City centre back is one of the ‘hottest names’ on Milan’s list of targets, especially as he will cost nothing as the Rossoneri plan for a prudent summer with a reduced transfer budget. The report claims that Adarabioyo’s availability for a free has levered him above the Brest defender Lilian Brassier, who will command a hefty transfer fee this summer.

Fulham hasn’t given up hope of persuading Adarabioyo to remain at Craven Cottage – even though the 26-year-old has turned down two contract offers already. The Cottagers have tabled ‘a bumper’ contract offer to keep him at the club over the past fortnight and believe his strong relationship with head coach Marco Silva and his increased playing time since the turn of the year gives them a good chance of avoiding his exit this summer.
