Joseph Aribo's bidding war is set for a photo finish after Leicester City joined the long list of suitors chasing the Super Eagles midfield choreographer this January.
According to foxesofleicester.com, manager Brendan Rodgers is already showing keen interest in the former Charlton Athletic midfielder after his team was rocked by a series of injuries and covid-19 cases.
Towards this end, the former Liverpool boss is already leaving no stone unturned to ensure the Nigeria International joins the ranks at Kings Power Stadium this January.
Although the 25-year-old Super Eagles star remains one of the key figures of his country's national team that will be competing for honours at the forthcoming African Cup of Nations in Cameroon, Leicester City will be hoping to wrap things up with Aribo's agent in the coming days.
With six goals and five assists in 32 appearances in all competitions to his credit this season, Aribo has been tipped as the next big thing in the Scottish Premier League but the departure of former boss Steven Gerrard seems to have triggered a massive exodus at the club this January.
Rangers Manager, Geovanni Van Bronchost has since braced up for Aribo's proposed exit this January after Aston Villa, Southampton indicated their interest in the player who is constantly on the radar of top English Premier League clubs.
Aribo has 18 months left in his contract at Ibrox but his mind seems to have been made up to pack his kit and head for the exit door.
He will be hoping to team up with two Super Eagles teammates Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho at King Power Stadium provided his transfer rumour did not turn to dust.
