NPFL: Mid-season transfer window opens as Enyimba expects Plateau United to be a hard nut to crack

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) has officially opened its 2024 mid-season transfer window. The league body announced on its official X handle.

The window was opened on January 10th, 2024, and will close on January 31st, 2024.

Clubs have been advised to make the best use of the window to fortify their team for the remainder of the season.

Elsewhere, Enyimba attacker, George Owen, has said that the clash against Plateau United will be tough.

Owen, however, insisted that his team will secure maximum points in the game.

He hinted that his knowledge of the environment would play a key role in their victory.

Plateau United will host Enyimba at the New Jos Stadium.

“It’s going to be a tough match, but I believe Enyimba will take the maximum points in the game,” he told the club’s media.

“Jos is a place I know very well because I was brought up there and nothing is impossible.”

Enyimba suffered a 2-1 defeat against Plateau United in the same fixture last season.
