Madrid to sign Ethan Mbappe from PSG, Hakimi to join soon

Real Madrid have reportedly agreed to sign Kylian Mbappe's brother from PSG in a move to charm their incoming French superstar.

Mail Sport has reported that Kylian, 25, has agreed to join Los Blancos for an £85.6million signing-on fee - though he will take an £8.5m pay cut.

Now it has emerged that Mbappe and his family requested for the Spanish giants to sign his younger brother, Ethan, as a treat to sweeten the deal.

Kylian had reportedly already signed with Madrid but his family asked for this personal bonus to be added to his pre-contract agreement.

Ethan plays for PSG's U19s and has broken into the first-team set-up this campaign, making three appearances.

While he is still only 17, he made his debut in December and it is understood that he would join Real Madrid Castilla, the Spanish side's B team, who play in the third tier.

Also, according to El Chiringuito TV, Mbappe has asked Madrid to make an effort to sign his PSG teammate Achraf Hakimi as well.

Hakimi is no stranger to Real Madrid, with the Moroccan right-back having come through the ranks at the Spanish capital club’s academy and even winning the UEFA Champions League with the team during the 2017/18 season.

After two seasons on loan at Borussia Dortmund, Hakimi was sold to Inter Milan, from where he made his way to PSG and has thrived there.

During his time in Paris, Hakimi has forged a close bond with Mbappe, and it appears that the latter is eager to continue their partnership, having asked Real Madrid to look into the possibility of signing him.

It must be noted that Real Madrid have Hakimi on their radar as a reinforcement for the right-back position.

However, any move for him is being planned for 2026, when his contract with PSG expires, with the idea being that Dani Carvajal can continue to be the first-choice right-back for a couple more years.
