Madrid concede to Mbappé as France captain regrets not moving to Spain earlier

The Kylian Mbappé transfer saga is already kicking off, despite the January transfer window opening in a few weeks. Mbappé will become a free agent next year and can agree to a pre-contract once the calendar turns to 2024.

While Mbappé is on their radar, Los Blancos are putting their foot down and have reportedly set a deadline for how long the player has to accept their offer, which is 15 days.

Recently, information from Spain revealed that Real Madrid will be giving the 24-year-old a salary below what he earns at Paris Saint-Germain. Nonetheless, the La Liga side is ready to compromise on one stance.

However, the decisive step must be taken during this crucial month; otherwise, Real Madrid will actively pursue Haaland as an alternative.

According to insiders, Mbappe hired a lawyer Delphine Verheiden to reshape his destiny.

The forward made it clear that to succeed in Europe, he needed to commit to signing with Real Madrid.

Now, he knows that it’s a now-or-never situation mostly because Madrid will go for Haaland if he delays his decision further. If he follows the protocol, Real Madrid will show interest but if there’s a delay, the moment will be lost.
