LeBron James hits new milestone with 10,000 rebounds
With this milestone, LeBron became the first player all-time in the NBA to accumulate at least 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 9,000 assists
Despite Wednesday night's 114-107 loss to the Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James once again made history by becoming the 42nd player all-time to reach 10,000 career rebounds.
The milestone rebound came with 4:11 minutes to play in the fourth period when the "King" recovered the ball after a missed three-pointer by the Pacers' Torrey Craig, during the game James racked up 12 boards along with 30 points, five assists and two steals.
With this milestone, LeBron became the first player all-time in the NBA to accumulate at least 30,000 points, 10,000 rebounds and 9,000 assists.
As for active players with at least 10,000 career rebounds, LeBron James is one of three, with teammates Dwight Howard and DeAndre Jordan in that group.
Howard, who grabbed seven boards in this game, reached 14,464 in his career, tying Nate Thurmond for 10th place all-time, with Kevin Garnett in ninth place with 14,662.
