The coach of Nigeria U20 National team, Flying Eagles, Ladan Bosso has revealed a snippet of his plans ahead of the final group A match clash between Nigeria and Mozambique at the ongoing CAF U20 Africa Cup of Nations tagged Egypt 2023, www.234sportsng.com reports.

" We must stamp our authority on the game from the beginning," Bosso told thenff.com.

Ladan Bosso expects Mozambique to fall to Nigeria in order not to depend on the result between Senegal and Egypt before booking their place in the quarter-finals.

" We have no idea what will happen in the match between Egypt and Senegal. Our fate is in our hands".

The coach believes the players will build on the performance against Egypt as the victory has restored belief and confidence in the team.

“The win over Egypt has kept the nerves down and the boys can now focus on playing their game; the way we know they can play".

Nigeria plays Mozambique on Saturday at 6 pm Nigeria time at the 22,000-capacity Suez Canal Stadium.

The team left the Jewel Sports City Hotel in Al Nasr, Cairo where they played their first two games at the competition, and embark on a 90-minute road trip to Ismailia immediately after breakfast.

The Flying Eagles need at least a point against Mozambique to stand a chance of booking a quarter-final ticket while an outright victory guarantees a slot in the round.
