Arsenal legend Ian Wright was impressed by Nigeria born Tammy Abraham’s assist against Napoli Monday and the Roma striker thanked the Arsenal legend on social media.

The Giallorossi are unbeaten in 12 Serie A games following a 1-1 draw against Napoli at the Stadio Maradona yesterday.

A late goal from Stephan El Shaarawy allowed the Giallorossi to pick up a point in Naples.

The Italy international was inspired by a wonderful assist by Abraham, who was praised on social media by Arsenal legend Ian Wright.

The former striker had tagged Abraham on Twitter using, among other things, an emoji with a classic Italian gesture. Abraham, a former Chelsea striker, thanked his compatriot after the game.

Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea in a €40m deal last summer and the Giallorossi’s investment is worth every penny as the Englishman has 24 goals and five assists in 45 appearances across all competitions.

He has been more prolific than club legends Gabriel Omar Batistuta and Vincenzo Montella on their debut seasons at the club.
