3SC General Manager rejects insinuation of mismanagement

The General Manager of the Shooting Stars Sports Club,  Dimeji Lawal, has described as false and malicious, allegations of mismanagement of the club's properties leveled against him by the former doctor of the team, Babatunde Falade.

He was reacting to the petition written by the said doctor Falade, where he raised many allegations against members of the management of the Oluyole Warriors, including the ex-Super Eagles star.

While clearing his name during a media briefing held on at the Jericho office of the club, Kabongo, as the ex-International is fondly called, explained that all the allegations levelled against him and the management as a whole, were completely unfounded and untrue, saying it was a ploy by the writer to deliberately malign him and others.

"My chairman has said it all but I must add, for my image' sake that everything said about me was untrue. The writer alleged in his petition that I have been selling properties of the club, including jerseys, and that I take rebates on hospital bills.

"I believe anybody has the right to try to unravel the truth by coming down to our office and find out how much I personally spent on the purchase of jerseys to gift people which is part of PR.

"Even when we go outside the state for matches, I do buy jerseys to take a long because people do ask for our jerseys and it is part of PR.

"It will interest you to know that for the past two to three years, I have never stepped into the hospital the club uses, because I have no cause to go there, not to talk of collecting money from anybody, as the writer falsely alleged", explained the former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles' dashing winger.
