Ronaldo Nazario rededicates life to Christ

The original Ronaldo, the phenomenon, Ronaldo Nazario, owner of Real Valladolid and Cruzeiro Esporte Clube of Brazil, has revealed on his Instagram account that he received the sacrament of baptism at the age of 46 in the Church of Sao Jose.

"Today is a very special day, I was baptized! The Christian faith has always been a fundamental part of my life, since I was a little boy, even though I had not yet been baptized," shared Ronaldo, one of the best strikers in the history of soccer, with his more than 29.5 million followers on Instagram.

"With the sacrament of baptism I feel truly regenerated as a child of God, in a new, more conscious, and deeper way," explained the former Real Madrid and Barcelona player.

Baptism is the first of the seven sacraments (Baptism, Confirmation or Chrismation, Eucharist, Penance, Anointing of the Sick, Priestly Ordination, and Marriage).
