There is some good news for Roma after back-to-back defeats, as Nigeria born striker Tammy Abraham returns to full fitness and should start against Empoli.

The Serie A match is due to kick off on Monday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT) at the Stadio Castellani.

Jose Mourinho is feeling the pressure after a 4-0 defeat to Udinese and 2-1 Europa League loss in Bulgaria with Ludogorets.

Abraham and Rick Karsdorp did not make the trip, but both are expected to be back and potentially in the starting XI against Empoli on Monday.

The other absentees remain on the treatment table, so they still have to do without Marash Kumbulla, Stephan El Shaarawy, Nicolò Zaniolo, Georginio Wijnaldum and Ebrima Darboe.

There is no rest expected for Paulo Dybala and Lorenzo Pellegrini, though Rui Patricio returns in goal after Mile Svilar received his Roma debut in the Europa League on Thursday evening.

As always, the doubts are on the wings, where Leonardo Spinazzola and Zeki Celik are battling Nicola Zalewski and Karsdorp for places.
