Liverpool star Sadio Mane has sensationally revealed he will do what Senegal people want when he was told '60 to 70 per cent' believe he should leave the club.

The Senegalese star, 30, shocked reporters at a press conference on Friday while on international duty with his country.

Mane has been linked with a move to Bayern Munich this summer, but had remained coy about his future until now.

However, he gave the clearest indication yet that he could be leaving Anfield soon.

He said: "I respect the fans and team but 60 to 70 per cent of Senegalese want me to leave Liverpool? I'll do what they want."

Mane was quizzed about his next move as Senegal prepare for an African Cup of Nations qualifier against Benin on Saturday.

And his stunning quote will certainly have sent shockwaves around Anfield Road.

Mane has so far refused to sign a new deal with the Premier League giants - and has just 12 months remaining on his current contract.

In the run-up to the Champions League final, boss Jurgen Klopp admitted that the African may be playing his final game for the club.

"Wherever Sadio will play next season he will be a big player, definitely," the German tactician revealed during a presser.

"Sadio is in the shape of his life, for sure. Brilliant shape, it is a joy to watch him.

"We ask of him a lot this season, football asks of him a lot — lot of finals. I couldn't care less in the moment."

Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich have been alerted to the possibility that Mane could be tempted into a move.

Sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has reportedly sent an offer of around £17million-per-year, which has tempted Mane.

PSG are also monitoring the situation, but it's the Bavarians who appear to be in the driving seat.

Liverpool are said to be looking for a £42.5million fee for Mane - who they bought from Southampton in 2016 for £34million.

During that time, he's played a key role in Liverpool's success - scoring 120 goals in 260 games for the club - while winning the Champions League, Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup.
