With less than six days to the kick-off of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup, FIFAWWC, the Super Falcons tore apart Queensland Lion FC of Australia 8-1 in a friendly played early Saturday morning in Australia to underline their readiness for the upcoming football fiesta.

The Super Falcons will begin their campaign at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup against Olympic champions Canada on Friday, July 21.

Then play against Republic of Ireland next and their last group match will come up against Australia.

The Super Falcons have attended all editions of appearance at the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand and will be looking forward to surpassing the round of 16 feats of last edition in France and then aspire to go beyond the quarter-finals, a feat achieved at the 2009 Edition in the USA.
