Manchester City are now top of the Premier League table after beating Arsenal 3-1 at the Emirates Wednesday night.
Goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish and Erling Haaland saw City extending their dominance over the misfiring Gunners.
Though Bukayo Saka pulled one for Arsenal from the penalty spot, it was largely inconsequential as the Cityzens raced to victory and effectively to the top spot.
While Pep Guardiola's men have been playing catch-up all season, they came fully prepared to North London for the Gunners.
It was only a matter of time before City broke the deadlock with Kevin de Bruyne setting the tone with the opening goal in the 24th minute.
The Belgian playmaker capitalised on an error made by Takehiro Tomiyasu  in the Arsenal defence.
Saka equalised from the penalty spot before half-time after Ederson had fouled Eddie Nketiah inside the penalty box.

Haaland thought he had won City a penalty but he was correctly deemed to be offside after a check by VAR.
The Norwegian striker was later involved in the action minutes later; initiating the run which culminated in a goal by Grealish in the 72nd minute.
At first glance it looked like a poor goal to concede, but the ball took a horrible deflection off of Tomiyasu's boot to take the ball past Ramsdale into the back of the Arsenal net to make it 2-1.
Any hope of Arsenal getting back into the game was dashed with Haaland making it 3-1 in the 82nd minute.
With Wednesday's victory, City has further accentuated their superior firepower over Arsenal who have now lost their last six games against the Cityzens.
Both City and Arsenal are tied on 51 points but while the former has a superior goals difference, the latter has played one game less .
