Sports legends Lewis Hamilton and Serena Williams are very close friends. In the USA, Max Verstappen on Red Bull took away Hamilton's hope of his first race win of the F1 season.

After the race, the British Mercedes driver shared a photo of the United States GP on his Instagram.

In the post, Hamilton exchanged funny opinions with Serena Williams and her father Anthony Hamilton. Anthony, the driver's father, asked Lewis: "Is that the maximum lap?" Lewis replied, "No, no, I was working on the forearm, the western handle."

Serena, who evidently does not know the term western grip, said: "I'll keep it and go. I've never thought about it!" Lewis concluded the discussion by saying, "You're Serena Williams! You don't need to know the Western grip.

You're the best!"

Lewis said after the race: "Red Bull was by far the fastest car all year and is still the fastest car. It was great to have started third and been in able to fight, but at a real pace they have been ahead of us all weekend.

They were on Sunday and it will be the next three races. So unless something drastic happens more than them, then it is highly unlikely that we will have the real pace to be able to compete with them." In an interview with actor Bradley Cooper, Serena Williams went back to talking about her goodbye: "I just needed to stop.

‘’I always said I wanted to stop when I was playing really good tennis and winning and beating good players. For me, it's really about the things I want to do spiritually and spend time with my daughter and family. As a super pragmatic mom, I can tell you how tough it was.

I lost a lot of matches after having Olympia, because it became really difficult to be on the pitch. I feel that I have given so much of my life to tennis, my entire life, that it is time to do something different for me and to dedicate myself to something else.

I think if I want to come back, I can certainly do it. When you're in it, you don't see it. It's completely different when you're involved. "
