Wright calls Iwobi 'magnificent' in Manchester United win

Former Arsenal striker Ian Wright has heaped praise on Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi for his 'magnificent' display in Everton's victory over Manchester United.
The Blues got the better of the Red Devils at Goodison Park courtesy of a deflected Anthony Gordon strike, though this was very much a collective effort from Frank Lampard's side as they earned all three points.
Determined to right the wrongs of Wednesday's defeat at Burnley, the Everton players worked tirelessly on Saturday afternoon to secure a victory and showed plenty more fight than the visitors.
One player who epitomised the Toffees' determination to see out the 1-0 scoreline was Iwobi, who charged down an attempted cross late on in the match as the hosts looked to hold on.

Paying tribute to this all-action display, Wright saluted the commendable work ethic of the ex-Arsenal man.
"He was magnificent, and he’s somebody that no matter how he’s playing – even when he played against West Ham and made a mistake – he does not stop trying to get on the ball, to be progressive," said Wright on Match of the Day.
“It was his work rate today. This is the kind of performance you want to see from somebody at home. The Everton fans want to see [it] because if they’re going to get themselves out of this predicament, it’s this kind of work rate.”
Prior to Saturday's showdown with United, Iwobi was the previous player to help the Blues to a league victory. His late strike against Newcastle United last month sent Goodison Park wild, deep into stoppage time. Iwobi has completed the full 90 minutes in each of Everton's last four league outings.
