The Nigeria U20 national team left Casablanca Morrocco on Thursday morning for Cairo, Egypt the venue of the 2023 Africa Cup Of Nations as the team wrapped up preparation for the competition. 

The Nigeria Football Federation official Twitter handle @thenff confirms the departure of the team, www.234sportsng.com reports.

The Flying Eagles have a week camp in Casablanca where they defeated the U20 national team of Congo by 2-1 before demolishing Morrocn club side Athletics Kwabab by 6-1 on Wednesday. 

The  6-1 victory against Kawkab Athletic U23 on Wednesday is the 18th win in nineteen matches with the 1-1 against Nassarawa United the only draw the Flying Eagles recorded so far in preparations for the AFCON U20 tournament proper.  


The team scored a total of 8️6️ goals while conceding 1️0️ since the Pre-AFCON camping and training exercise began on November, 29th, 2022. 

Nigeria will face Senegal on Sunday as hostilities begin this weekend at the Under U20 Africa Cup Of Nations in Egypt this weekend
