Manchester United wantaway star Cristiano Ronaldo has received a sensational £2 million a week offer from an unknown Saudi Arabian club, it's been claimed but he may reject the offer.

Less than a year after making a sensational return to Old Trafford, the Portuguese superstar wants out of his Manchester United contract.

A number of Europe's big boys are said to hold an interest in signing the forward, including United's Premier League rivals Chelsea.

And a mega-rich Saudi club are said to have thrown their hat into the ring for Ronaldo's services with an audacious offer.

That's according to CNN Portugal, who claim the unknown club is set to offer United £25m for the wantaway forward.

They've reportedly offered Ronaldo a two-year deal worth a staggering £211m - which works out to £2m a week.

Ronaldo, however, is unlikely to be swayed by the vast riches as he wants to play Champions League football next season.

The 37-year-old still believes he has "three or four years" left at the top and doesn't want to waste his time outside of Europe's elite club competition.

United aren't interested in cashing in on their club legend and are planning for him to be part of their squad for the fast-approaching new season.

New United boss Erik ten Hag said: "We are planning for Cristiano Ronaldo for the season and that's it and I'm looking forward to working with him.”

“I have read but what I say is Cristiano is not for sale, he is in our plans and we want success together.

"I spoke with him before this issue came up, I had a conversation with him and I had a good talk.”

“That is between Cristiano and me, what I can confirm is we had a really good conversation together.

"What I said before, once again, I had a really good talk together.”

Ronaldo was United's top goalscorer last season, scoring 24 goals and providing three assists in 39 appearances in all competitions.
