Barcelona manager Xavi Hernandez will join up with his Barcelona squad after finally resolving the administrative problems that prevented him from travelling with the team to the United States on Saturday.

As a result, the 42-year-old will be on the bench for El Clasico against Real Madrid on Saturday.

Xavi travelled to Madrid at the start of the week in order to resolve the issues, which stemmed from his time at Al Sadd.

While working for the Qatari club, he travelled to Iran on several occasions, meaning he required special permission to enter the US.

He's since sorted all the issues and left Madrid according to tv3, and he's now expected to land in Miami on Thursday morning, before travelling with the team to Las Vegas.

In total, Xavi will have missed five days of training camp and four days of team preparation, in which time his right-hand man and brother, Oscar Hernandez, led the Blaugrana.
