After negotiating their way through the group stage albeit finishing second behind South Africa, the Super Falcons have three games ahead of them to win if they are to emerge champions at the 2022 Women's Africa Cup of Nations taking place in Morocco.

One player who remains resolute that the Super Falcons will go all the way in Morocco is Ohale Osinachi who was voted the Woman-of-the-Match in Nigeria's last group game against Burundi.

The 30-year-old, who turns out for Deportivo Alaves in Spain says she and her teammates are aware they are now at the crucial stage of the tournament and would be doing their best to make the quest for an unprecedented 10th title a reality.

“We are at a crucial stage of the tournament so it was very important for us to play the way we did and we know how much it means to us. We have now qualified for the quarterfinals and we are ready for the challenge ahead.” Ohale told Cafonline

She added: “We have grown from strength to strength from when we played our first game and this was a good show tonight. We want to continue to improve and get better. Our target is to win the trophy and we are getting closer.”

In the big win against Burundi, Ohale registered a 90.8% pass accuracy from making 76 passes and her partnership with captain Onome Ebi has been getting better by the day.

Nigeria finished second in Group C with six points and would be facing Cameroon on Thursday in one of the quarter-final pairings
