Loquacious British boxer Tyson Fury would not go to watch Nigeria-born former heavyweight champion of the world Anthony Joshua’s rematch with Oleksandr Usyk even if he had free tickets and it was in his hometown.

The Gypsy King and his family enjoyed a swanky Cannes getaway last month just weeks after the star claimed his career was over inside the ring.

That came after his brutal uppercut downed Dillian Whyte at Wembley to retain his WBC heavyweight world title in April.

The 33-year-old’s decision to retire has denied boxing fans the opportunity to see him take on the winner of AJ and Usyk’s rematch to unify the heavyweight decision.

However, he has hinted several times that he could return - even telling talkSPORT's Jim White and Simon Jordan that he'd be up for a comeback if he got paid £500m.

Meanwhile, fellow Brit Joshua’s shot at redemption against the Ukrainian is expected to take place in Saudi Arabia in August.

But Fury is adamant he won't attend - and wouldn't bother showing up even if it was a stone’s throw from his house.

He said: “I wouldn’t go to [Joshua v Usyk] if it was in Morecambe to see two bums fight each other.

“If you want to see a real man fight, come with the half a billion and it’s on like Donkey Kong.”

Despite not appearing to care one jot about who wins, he still thinks it will be Usyk that has Joshua’s number when they clash again.

He added: “Joshua is getting beat when he fights Usyk again.

“Unless he gets his fat ass to Morecambe and lets me train him to win this fight, I don’t see him winning the fight and I said that last time.

“He will get beat again. Then it’ll cost the half a billi for the big GK to come out of retirement.”
