Like every other season, the transfer deadline day was dramatic with some last-minute deals and u-turns, here is a collection of the top transfer gist across Europe...

Following his move to Rangers from Juventus Wales' Aaron Ramsey insisted that he had a number of options on the table as the transfer window neared its end, saying that "none matched the magnitude of this club, with European football and the chance to play in front of 50,000 fans every other week". Ousmane Dembele will remain at Barcelona for the rest of the season. What that will mean for Aubameyang being registered by the club remains to be seen. (RMC Sport,)

Barcelona and Arsenal have reached an agreement for Aubameyang. The player will join on a six-month loan and is subject to a medical. Barcelona will then have the option to extend the deal for one year. (Marca)

Tottenham's Dele Alli has followed Donny van de Beek in joining Everton, and Frank Lampard looks to be the key behind the move, as he was in the deal to land Van de Beek. (Sky Sports News.)

Tottenham have confirmed the signings of Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus. The former has signed a deal until 2026, and just needs confirmation of a work permit. The latter joins Spurs on an 18-month loan with option to buy. (Sky News)

Tanguy Ndombele has completed his return to Lyon from Tottenham Hotspur, as he has joined on loan with an option to buy for 65 million euros (54.2 million pounds). (Sun)

Lyon have announced the arrival of exciting playmaker Romain Faivre from Brest, with the 23-year-old joining for a fee of 15 million euros plus add-ons. (Sport)

Newcastle United had an offer accepted by Stade de Reims for Hugo Ekitike, but the 19-year-old has turned down a move to St James' Park, according to L'Equipe. Instead, Ekitike will stay at Reims until the end of the season and then evaluate his options. (90 mins)

Manchester City have announced the signing of Julian Alvarez from River Plate, but the Argentine, who celebrates his 22nd birthday Monday, will remain on loan at Los Millonarios until at least the end of June. (Mirror)

Kylian Mbappe has just six months left on his contract at Paris Saint-Germain,. The 23-year-old has reached an agreement to join Real Madrid, where he will earn 50 million euros gross per season. (Bild )

Liverpool failed in their bid to sign Fulham's talented teenage forward Fabio Carvalho before the window closed. The clubs agreed a fee in the region of £8m shortly before the deadline but the final details of the transfer could not be concluded in time. (Star)
