Like every other season, the transfer deadline day was dramatic with some last-minute deals and u-turns, here is a collection of the top transfer gist across Europe...

Following his move to Rangers from Juventus Wales' Aaron Ramsey insisted that he had a number of options on the table as the transfer window neared its end, saying that "none matched the magnitude of this club, with European football and the chance to play in front of 50,000 fans every other week". Barcelona and Arsenal have reached an agreement for Aubameyang. The player will join on a six-month loan and is subject to a medical. Barcelona will then have the option to extend the deal for one year. (Marca)

Tanguy Ndombele has completed his return to Lyon from Tottenham Hotspur, as he has joined on loan with an option to buy for 65 million euros (54.2 million pounds). (Sun)

Lyon have announced the arrival of exciting playmaker Romain Faivre from Brest, with the 23-year-old joining for a fee of 15 million euros plus add-ons. (Sport)

Newcastle United had an offer accepted by Stade de Reims for Hugo Ekitike, but the 19-year-old has turned down a move to St James' Park, according to L'Equipe. Instead, Ekitike will stay at Reims until the end of the season and then evaluate his options. (90 mins)
