Manchester United could bring Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele to the club on a free transfer this month. The benefit for Barcelona by allowing the 24-year-old to walk away from his contract six months early is that they would then have more flexibility salary-wise. (Sport).

Barcelona has received a warning from the AFE Spanish Players' Union after going public with pressure on forward Ousmane Dembele that "must leave the club" after failing to agree on a new contract. It follows comments from Barca’s sporting director Mateu Alemany on Thursday that “we have told him he must leave the club as soon as possible”, after no agreement could be found on a new contract.
