Supercomputer predicts Man City will win Premier League, Arsenal to finish in top four
Manchester City remain favorites in the EPL title race

Manchester City will hold off the challenge of Liverpool to win their second successive Premier League title - a supercomputer has predicted.

The Reds are currently breathing down the necks of Pep Guardiola's charges, who they trail by a solitary point.

But according to BettingExpert's supercomputer, City will fend off Jurgen Klopp's tenacious troops to get their hands on the trophy at the end of the season.

The algorithm has also predicted that crisis club Chelsea will finish the season in third - despite their off-the-field problems.

And Arsenal - who were outsiders for a place in the top-four at the start the season - are set to continue their rich vein of form and finish in fourth.

Managerless Manchester United are set to miss out on Champions League football altogether and end a hot and cold season in sixth behind Tottenham.

The supercomputer's predictions makes good reading for Newcastle United - who are still close to the drop zone.

The Magpies have been tipped to beat the drop and finish the season in 14th place - a position manager Eddie Howe would've taken when he was appointed last November.

Frank Lampard's struggling Everton have also been backed to beat the drop with a 17th-placed finish.

But the table makes for grim reading for Burnley, Watford and Norwich fans.

The struggling trio are all set to fail in their respective bids to beat the drop and return to The Championship.

Sean Dyche's Burnley are set to end the season in 18th place, while Roy Hodgson's Watford will end it in 19th.

And bottom of the table Norwich are set to return to the Championship as the worst team in the division.

A bettingexpert.com spokesperson said: “Arsenal are now odds on to take fourth spot ahead of rivals Tottenham and Manchester United after a great run of form under Mikel Arteta.

“In the title race, Manchester City still lead the way, but the supercomputer is predicting a far tighter finish at the top than many expected.

“At the other end of the table, Norwich and Watford are doomed, while Burnley are expected to drop into the Championship with them.
