234sportsng.com can exclusively report that some top senior players in Super Eagles are furious with goalkeeper Maduka Okoye for his role in Nigeria's exit from the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

A top official of the team who declared anonymity revealed that most of the senior players were furious with the goalkeeper's elementary error and wondered he allowed such a feeble shot to beat him.
The official revealed that Okoye may have lost his starting place as Nigeria's no.1 goalkeeper after some top NFF officials expressed their disappointment over his performance against Tunisia.
"Some of the senior players are not happy with Okoye right now. They wondered why such a weak shot could beat him. He has lost the confidence of some senior players. It is so sad Nigerian is out, " he said.
