Ahead of next month's crunch World Cup playoff against Ghana, reports indicate that Oghenekaro Etebo is nearing a return to first-team football with Watford following a quad injury sustained in September.

The midfielder, who is on loan from Stoke City, is currently in Finland for a meeting with his surgeon to further assess his recovery.

The Watford Observer reports that the Nigeria international is expected to fly back to England later this evening (Thursday).

Meanwhile, Kwadwo Baah is now back in full training after recovering from a fractured ankle.

Rob Elliot is once again available after shaking off a knock that kept him out of the trip to West Ham United on Tuesday evening.

No fresh injuries were picked up at the London Stadium, leaving Roy Hodgson with just Nicolas Nkoulou as his only other long-term absentee.

The defender is continuing to work on his rehabilitation at the training ground
