Stakeholders and fans pass votes of confidence on Titiloye's Kwara United board
"It is a good thing for us to know that Kwarans are happy with how we have turned Kwara United into one of the strongest teams in Nigeria and this appreciation is a tonic for us to do more this season and coming ones,"
Kumbi Titiloye and his board members at Kwara United have been enjoined by fans and Stakeholders to continue with their good work and efforts towards making the team one of the best in Nigeria.
Since Kumbi Titiloye and his board members were installed, there have been significant changes in Kwara United as the club has now become a title contender and no more fear of relegation in the hearts of Kwara fans.
Before they came on board, the prayers and focus of all Kwarans were for the team not to relegate, but that has now been interred and forgotten.
It will be recalled that last season, Kwara United officially finished third on the final NPFL table, but was later pushed to 4th by the NFF's O&D who awarded Rivers United boardroom points against JGS.
The decision made Kwara United not play continental games this term.
Despite some financial challenges, Kwara United are still doing well this season as the Harmony Boys are among the top five with the target of getting a continental ticket.
The stakeholders and fans who gathered on Tuesday evening at the Kwara state stadium complex thanked Kumbi Titiloye, Bashir Badawiy and Coach Abdullahi Biffo for their brilliant efforts in repositioning Kwara United.
They however urged the Kwara United Management not to relent in their efforts in making Kwarans proud.
"It is a good thing for us to know that Kwarans are happy with how we have turned Kwara United into one of the strongest teams in Nigeria and this appreciation is a tonic for us to do more this season and coming ones," Kwara United GM Bashir Badawiy explained.
Meanwhile, Kwara United currently occupy 5th position on the NPFL table and will be travelling to Gombe on Thursday where they will face Gombe United this coming Sunday in the NPFL matchday 29 clashes.
