Former Kano State Governor Ibrahim Shekarau has told supporters and fans of Kano Pillars to embark on fervent prayers so that the club will not be relegated.
Shekarau a serving senator representing Kano central during a visit to Pillars at MKO Abiola stadium FCT Abuja, during their NPFL Match Day 25 against Sunshine Stars FC Akure urged the players and officials to remain focused in their present moments of torments.
Said Shekarau “I bring you special greetings special prayers, we are very proud of you, Kano Pillars has come to stay.
“I am pleased you are doing your best, please keep it up, we extend our best wishes, continue to exercise patience, and don’t give up.
“By the grace of God the team will continue to excel and continue to be the best ambassadors, when you lose, see it as a challenge, when you win see it as another challenge, we are aware of what happened back at home, it is a matter of time, anywhere you go we are with you,” Shekarau stated.
