Super Eagles gaffer, Austin Eguavoen revealed that Ademola Lookman's final words gave him a clear vision of what his Qatar 2022 payoffs lists should look like.
In an exclusive interview with Elegbete TV Sports recently, the former Enyimba coach disclosed that he had a long conversation with new Eagles in the nest before picking players he would need to prosecute Qatar 2022 World Cup playoffs against Ghana.
Ademola Lookman was finally cleared by FIFA to represent Nigeria at the senior level after he featured in England U-20 side, and he is expected to get his long-awaited senior cap in Nigerian colours later this month.

"Even before Ademola Lookman was listed I was in Leicester, we had a conversation three days before the league game so his responses to me also informed whether he was going to be in the list or not.
"If his responses were negative I would have been a little bit hesitant as well." Eguavoen told Elegbete TV Sports.
Eguavoen is expected to unleash the fleet footed striker on Ghana Black Stars when both country rekindled rivalry in Cape Coast on Match 25th. And with Kelechi Iheanacho not in the best of form at Leicester City lately, it remains to be seen how Eguavoen intends to reshuffle his attacking line in the two-legged tie.
