Osimhen trip’s to Paris fuels PSG speculation but Bayern are out bidding for Eagles striker

With the end of the season and summer transfer window nearing, Napoli are preparing themselves to be bombarded by offers – Victor Osimhen is a name in high demand amongst European elite.

But club chief Aurelio De Laurentiis does not want to part ways with his star marksman, and will do anything to hold him down to Napoli, at least for another season.

According to Il Mattino (via Calciomercato), Napoli want no less than €160M to reflect in their coffers from any interest club. De Laurentiis has set the high figure to wade off suitors, including Manchester United,

Bayern Munich, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain in particular, with the latter reportedly making inroads in the transfer race.

24-year-old Osimhen dreams of starring in the Premier League, but was recently spotted in Paris with his agent, fueling reports of talks with PSG ahead of next season.

Whether his trip was purely touristic, remains unknown, but one thing is for sure – any interested team, including PSG, will have to break the Serie A transfer record which is currently held by Romelu Lukaku, who moved from Inter to Chelsea in 2021 for €113M.

Osimhen has 28 goals and 5 assists in 35 appearances for Napoli this season.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich CEO Oliver Kahn has seemingly played down the prospect of the German heavyweights signing Manchester United transfer target Osimhen this summer.

Kahn has highlighted the 'risk' that the Bundesliga club could take by possibly recruiting Osimhen for such an eye-watering transfer fee. It has been claimed recently that Napoli will demand a fee north of £120million.

Kahn, speaking to SportBILD, said: "When it's about such a fee, we have to ask the question: does the player give you a guarantee for this money? That would definitely be a big risk."
