Athletics star Shaunae Miller-Uibo will light up the women's 200m at the next Wanda Diamond League meeting in Silesia on August 6th, while Jasmine Camacho-Quinn will once again be firm favourite in the women's 100m hurdles.

Shaunae Miller-Uibo and Jasmine Camacho-Quinn will be among the star athletes who resume their Wanda Diamond League campaigns in Silesia next month, as the series returns on August 6th following the World Athletics Championships in Oregon.

After picking up her first win of the season in Paris in the 400m last month, four-time Diamond League champion Miller-Uibo will turn her attention to the 200m in Poland.

The Bahamian superstar is the reigning Olympic champion in the 400m, but has said this season that she intends to focus more on the shorter distance in the coming years. Three of her four career Diamond Trophies have come in the 200m, and while her place in the 400m Diamond League Final is all but secure, Miller-Uibo is currently only eighth in the 200m qualification table.

Olympic silver medallist Marileidy Paulino is the favourite in the 400m in Miller-Uibo's absence, as she goes up against a number of Polish athletes including Anna Kiełbasińska, who picked up her first Diamond League victory in Stockholm last week.

There is also plenty to look forward to in the women's 100m hurdles, as Olympic champion Jasmine Camacho-Quinn aims to claim her fourth Diamond League win of the year after securing her place in the final with victories in Eugene, Rome and Stockholm.

She will be joined by current world champion Nia Ali and world record holder Kendra Harrison, both of whom need to bolster their points tally to lock down their place in the Zurich start lists at the end
