Ola Aina gets an exceptional rating in Nottingham Forest's 3-2 defeat of Man Utd at Old Trafford

Nottingham Forest claimed a big 3-2 victory in an entertaining game away to Manchester United on Saturday evening and Super Eagles defender Ola Aina played a huge role in ensuring he left Old Trafford with three points.

Pundits who gave 8.5 out possible 10 marks wrote about the Eagles defender,

“Aina had his work cut out for much of the evening as was all hands to the pump at times, particularly in the closing stages. Kept his composure, though, and made some good forward runs.”

The Nigeria international has been in excellent form since the beginning of the season.

He won the highest number of votes in a poll conducted on the club’s official website recently.

Aina scored his first Forest goal of the month against West Ham United.

The 28-year-old also helped Nuno Espirito Santo keep two clean sheets during the month.

It was the first time he will be winning the award this season.

The full-back has made 14 league appearances for the Tricky Trees this season.
